BasketBros is a 2-player basketball game that strips the sport down to what's most fun — slam dunks, blocks, and head-to-head competition on a single screen. Characters have exaggerated proportions, moves are over-the-top, and every point feels earned through outmaneuvering an opponent who's trying just as hard to stop you.
Control your player with movement and jump keys. Drive toward the basket, time your dunk or shot, and defend when the opponent has the ball. Special moves are unlocked by different characters, which changes the approach needed to stop them. The single-screen format keeps both players constantly in the action.
Timing the jump on offense is more important than positioning. A well-timed jump gets you above the defender for a clean dunk. A mistimed one runs you into them. Practice the timing against the AI before jumping into 2-player competitive matches.
On defense, shadow your opponent's horizontal movement rather than jumping immediately when they jump. Jumping too early gives them time to move around you. Wait until they commit to the basket before jumping to contest the shot.
