Tank Trouble is a top-down tank battle game for up to two players on the same keyboard. Shoot each other in a maze. Bullets bounce off walls. One hit ends the round. It's simple, immediately competitive, and far more tactical than it looks — because in a maze where bullets ricochet, every shot is also a potential self-inflicted loss.
Navigate a tank through a maze and fire at the opponent. The mechanic that defines the game is bullet bouncing — shots reflect off walls, which means lining up a shot that goes around corners is a legitimate and frequently necessary strategy. Straight shots often miss; angled wall bounces often don't.
Don't fire constantly. Each shot you fire is also a potential hazard if it bounces back to your position. Learn the maze layout before committing to aggressive play — knowing which corridors lead to dead ends changes how you position yourself.
Firing backward while reversing can catch opponents who are chasing you. If you know an opponent is directly behind you, a backward shot while retreating is more likely to connect than a turn-around-and-fire sequence that gives them time to move.
