Run 3 takes the endless runner format and makes it weird in the best way. Instead of running on solid ground, you're sprinting through a rotating tunnel floating in deep space. The floor tilts. Sections collapse. What looks like a wall becomes the ground two seconds later.
The Explore Mode has structured levels that introduce mechanics gradually — good for getting comfortable before things get genuinely tricky. Infinite Mode strips away the structure and asks one question: how far can you go before you fall off?
Unlockable characters are where the real variety lives. The Runner is your starter — reliable, nothing special. The Skater covers ground faster but is harder to control in tight spaces. The Lizard can run on walls, which sounds overpowered until you realize the walls are moving too. Finding the character that matches how you naturally play takes a few runs, and figuring that out is part of the fun.
Controls are simple: left and right to move, space to jump. But at the pace the later tunnels run at, simple inputs demand sharp reflexes. The difficulty curve earns it — early levels genuinely ease you in before the game starts throwing rotation and speed at you simultaneously.
Starting tip: the Skater character covers ground fast but is harder to control on tight sections. Stick with the Runner until you're comfortable with how the tunnels rotate, then experiment. In Infinite Mode, don't chase the edges of the tunnel — stay near the center and move only when you need to. Reacting late to a gap is less dangerous than overcorrecting to one that wasn't a real threat.
